Homemade Face Moisturizer is best for Healthy skin

Homemade face moisturizer is best for skin care. Now everyone knew that proper nourishment is the key to glowing skin. But is that possible to get proper nourishment from market pre-packaged moisturizer and skin lotion?

Because skin lotion and moisturizers are available in markets are full of chemicals. Then why don’t you make your own face moisturizer by yourself. You can make a homemade moisturizer within a few minutes by using simple natural ingredients that are already available in your kitchen.

Whipped Coconut + Green Tea Moisturizer Homemade face moisturizer

Until now you only use Green tea for weight loss product to lose your weight. But now you can use green tea as a skin moisturizer too. Yes, you read right we will make a moisturizer with the help of green tea and coconut oil.

Green-tea- Moisturizer

  • Ingredients

    1 cup coconut oil
    2 tablespoons loose green tea

How to make:

  • Use a double boiler on medium heat to melt the coconut oil.
  • Stir in the green tea.
  • Cover and simmer on lowest heat setting for 1 hour.
  • Strain tea from oil with cheesecloth.
  • Let cool until almost solid.
  • Then whip until creamy, 3-5 minutes.

Shea Butter Homemade face Moisturizer

For making this shea butter lotion you can use any nourishing oil. if you use almond oil instead of other oil. Cause almonds are full with Vitamin E which are best for glowing and softer skin.



  • 1/2 cup Shea butter (4 oz)
  • 2 TB nourishing oil such as jojoba, avocado, apricot, sweet almond oil, or grapeseed oil (anyone).

Note: Almond oil is my recommendation since it feels the best on the skin for most people.

How to make:

  • In a double boiler (a glass bowl over a pot filled 1/4 the way full with water), over medium-low heat, melt the shea butter. Add in the nourishing skin oil Almond oil). Turn off the heat.
  • Pour it into a bowl. Place in the fridge or freezer and allow to cool and return to a solid (not hard) form. it will take 15-20 minutes.
  • Once opaque and slightly firm, remove the bowl from the freezer. Add in the essential oils. Using the whisk attachment on your mixer, whip the mixture. You can also use a whisk.
  • This takes just a few seconds. Don’t over-whip. Scoop into a jar and store at room temp. Apply to both body and face as desired.

Olive-Oil  homemade face Moisturizer

Olive Oil is always best for hairs, nails, and skin. We are using it now making skin moisturizer to get a glowing and shiny skin.



  • 1/3 cup Olive Oil
  • 2 tablespoons Coconut Oil
  • 2 tablespoons Beeswax
  • 1/2 teaspoon Vitamin E Oil (optional)

How to make:

  • Add all the ingredients in a small glass container.
  • Then melted it in a hot water bath in a saucepan on the stove. You can Melt it with the help of double boiler too
  • Once everything is melted together, you pour it into another small jar for storage.
  • It cools to a gel-like consistency. You Can use it on hands legs or arms.

Coconut oil + Tea Tree oil Face homemade face Moisturizer

Tea Tree oil has skin Cleansing properties. It will be beneficial for acne prone skin too.  It will make your skin so soft and moisturized and you will feel like you went the spa. Your makeup looks better after you use this at night.



  • Coconut Oil
  • Tea tree Oil

How to make:

  • Scoop about 1/4 cup coconut oil into a microwave-safe dish. Microwave it for about 30 seconds, or until completely melted.
  • Add 6-8 drops of Tea Tree oil because it is great for your skin. You can use it directly on your skin by itself, but you have to try it in this face cream. It feels heavenly.
  • Pour these oil mixture into your container. Set aside until it becomes solid again.
  • Use this before bed

Lavender Coconut Oil Moisturizer

Using lavender oil for skin to help reduce redness, blotchy patches, and acne scars from your face. Its antiseptic properties also help skin to heal faster, while fighting and preventing further infection. Adding a few drops will not only make your skin smell wonderful, but it can also help relieve sore muscles.



  • 1/2 cup coconut oil
  • 1 teaspoon liquid vitamin E
  • 12 drops lavender essential oil

How to make:

  • Melt the coconut oil (by placing the jar into a bowl of warm water) and mix it with Vitamin E and Lavender oil.
  • Mix it well and let it sit. Now whip this mixture with the help of fork if you want you can use a whisk.
  • When the coconut comes in soft greesy form, you’ll get a mixture that contains the health benefits of all the ingredients in one, quick and simple homemade moisturizer.
